Fred, Re: "I would like to hear any comments from anyone on VTSS,Vitesse
Semiconductor. How would you rate it now and what can it evolve into?"

I'm don't see Vitesse ever becoming big because they specialize in Gallium Arsenide ICs (vs. Silicon). Silicon, CMOS, is making phenomenal strides in speed now, to go with their already best of any technology density and low cost per gate. Some have tried to get Gallium density up to compete with CMOS, but have failed. So, it looks like a low density, very high speed technology that will keep it in the niche category.

Why has Vitesse dropped off so much lately?
