Perhaps it would be a better discussion of what he ISN'T doing that jepordizes the lack of an appreciable rebound in share price. It seems to me as though other than replacing the CFO(excellent move) that Wilson has done little if anything since last year. I have no idea as to his negotiating abilities but so far I must say that they can't be that good if he hasn't been able to finalize a partnership after 8 months of negotiating.

What I can not understand is why he simply doesn't find Vivus a replacement CEO and step down. As far as I am concerned the only thing that prevents Vivus from being a +$10/share stock is the fact that Wilson remains the CEO of Vivus. He is either too proud or too stupid to realize that the investment community(individual and institutional) does not trust his ability to lead and considers him to have zero credibility. Why the Vivus board of directors do not throw his sorry a#*%s out on the street is beyond my own comprehension. I guess it is as you said earlier--it is his company not ours. As long as Vivus is Wilson's company not too many deep pocketed investors will be attracted to it. Get rid of Wilson and investor sentiment will rapidly change. All IMHO.
