To All: The lovely Sherry or as we know her Foxxy, is on vacation. She is in the Caribbean. Fortunately she took a lap top with her and has sent me a few E-mails. I thought I would share them with everyone. Dear Druss I just got here this morning. It is lovely and of course very tropical, but I have to admit to some culture shock. To begin with a group of young beggars pestered me as soon as I went outside my hotel. It should have been obvious with what I was wearing I didn't have any money with me. They were really pretty rude and it was upsetting to me but I decided not to let a little thing like this disturb my vacation. Much more disturbing was they don't have T-bird wine here. I couldn't believe it. The hotel brochuer said the bar was fully stocked. After I finished off my traveling supplies I went down to the bar and they didn't have a drop. Fortunately they did have rum and I decided to try that. It really doesn't have that bad of a taste and I think it has a stronger kick than T-bird in its own way. So I figured when in Rome and all that and took a few bottles up to my room. I think that stronger kick of the rum may have caused a little accident though. You see the bartender gave me a whole handful of change and his hands were just filthy. I hated to take the money. When I got back to the room I thought I would clean it. I guess I should have just poured rum on it but I didn't want to waste any and I was afraid it would do like T-bird and eat the metal. So I got a candle and a metal cup that came in the room and put the coins in the cup with the lit candle underneath. Then I settled back to have a bottle or two of rum. While I was working my way through the second bottle I went out to my room balcony and someone yelled "Hey cheap Lady, you want to give us some money now?" It was that group of beggar kids. I thought to myself maybe if I give them some money they will be nicer to me the next time they see me. So I went back in the room. I swear it was the rum, Druss, I just walked into the room and saw the cup and didn't even think. I just picked it up, walked to the balcony and tossed the coins out on to the kids. I have felt so bad about it. I am afraid the only ones that didn't burn their little hands were the ones that had coins fall inside their clothes when I tossed them down. Their squawling woke up everyone who was taking an afternoon nap in the hotel, so I am off to a bad start with the other people staying in the hotel besides. It has been a rough day.
