Na, can't be. The ol'prospector presents her/himself in a way that I infer as truely a miner who has real-world experience. And besides, the 49r would never leave a thread in which questions have been raised about the accuracy and content of the 49r's posts. We would have had an all out war! Thall seems to be educated in the area, but he (she?) has never come across as one who has really done scientific study in the area of the stocks that this thread is dedicated. Also, thall is using an address from the University of New Mexico. They have a Mining Engineering corriculum, as well as a metalurgy one. It would be most difficult to obtain that address without being a student (ol49r is not affiliated with UNM) or a member of the faculty. My limited search of the public school internet record did not show him as a facultity member. I could not find a student named xxx Thall, or T. Hall. But I only had limited access to student info. PRB
