ed, I never made any conclusion base on the media hype. So you are saying DOJ hasn't proven its case. I seriously disagree. Internal emails between MSFT execs are true indications of what their thinkings are. So you are saying that Judge Jackson will sweep that under the rug and let them off the hook? Well, if those emails are allowed to be evidences presented on the court, then they must count as evidence. So you are saying an OS which controls 90% of the desktop market is NOT a monopoly, and your lawyers are citing Red Hat Linux as your competetors (that's before the IBM deal with Red Hat, mind you), and people were laughing you on the court on that point, you are telling me you have a good point? ed, I would like to know what are you smoking, because I would like to get some of that. So you are telling me you can send somebody an email that says you were going to kill XYZ, and you indeed cut off XYZ's supply, and XYZ took you to court, and showed that email to the judge, and you are expecting the judge just dismiss that, huh? If that's the case, then the American Justics system has some serious problem.
And how do you explain the video tape debacle? What kind of credibility do you have when you fake those crucial evidence? In any defense strategy, isn't credibility a central issue? Face it, they've proven you are a monopoly, you've shown in front of the whole world that you seriously lack credibility. If that's not being beaten to death, or get your lunch taken, I don't know what it is? If you don't think they are seriously getting their bootie kicked, then you must have some insider information from Judge Jackson that we don't know.
ed, nothing against you, I am just stating what I am seeing in this case. I believe MSFT has lost it. I just don't know what the implications will be and how will be that affect MSFT's price. |
