Do you think that any of the index funds will be buying because the price will be lower? I thought some index funds (Vanguard) said they will be buying threw out the year to full fill their requirements.

I can't speculate on how the split will affect funds buying AOL. I would imagine this is a decision each individual fund manager will have to make. I would tend to think the lower price will be more appealing to the average investor.
