Can someone tell me why there is not more discussion on the apparent increase in lease rates on Friday- at least to validate that it is true or not? If it is true (in my humble opinion, with not a lot of real knowledge on the subject), the implications are huge and very very positive for gold. However, I really can't believe that the increase is valid since only the 1mth and 1 year rate changed and the 3 and 6 month rates stayed unchanged. This has got to be a completely impossible situation (there must be huge arbitrage possibilities available with this type of "lease curve"). Comments please!
