Thank you for the sites..

Trash and waste when it can not be handled locally, imo, is the truly hard evidense of a socity's over-consumption and/or the over
concentration of the population in that area..

No environmental problems can be truly addressed until population
and consumption are looked at in a realistic manner..

As the old sayings goes, it truly starts locally..

We shop mostly in a store called Trader Joes.. a chain of small grocery stores that encourages the reuse of paper shopping bags..
I have yet to see anyone, except ourselves, that brings in their bags for reuse.

We have curbside recycling, and I would venture to say that maybe
half our neighborhood participates... But I will say this, they do
have neat lawns.. with high concentrations of chemicals.

I don't know what or if there is an answer.. I just do my part. in
my own way as I try to step AS LIGHT as I can through life..

Actually I think all living organisms are cancers of various degrees on their hosts.. Some are fast moving.. like Carcoma <sp>
Some of us try to be slow moving...like ???.
