I didn't go off half cocked at all, Sidney. If you reread the series of posts between you and Steven, you get back to here, where Steven is writing: << I don't want to overdo this, but I asked you a question: If we teach that some people have a different sexual orientation and that those people are as human as the rest of us and deserve to be treated as we would wish to be treated ourselves, does that mean we have taught that gay sex is normal? Is this teaching wrong? I was really quite curious to see how you would answer.>> You made quite clear (correct me if I am wrong) in several posts that you believe that simply teaching children that homosexuals are people with equal and human rights who shouldn't be harassed or tortured, like the curriculums do that use books like "Heather Has Two Mommies" are inappropriate in the schools, and implying that homosexuality could be taught. Then you started discussing how parents teach their children everything they know. So as the result of you writing about all your ideas, my questions follow naturally. Is the real problem perhaps that you cannot answer them and maintain any sort of logic?
