I think the problem is that you have misunderstood my posts. Let me clarify. Everyone has the same rights under our laws.Everyone has the right to not be beaten, tortured, hunted. I don't condone any attacks on homosexuals, it's illegal and the aggressor's should be jailed. That's the law. drifting drifting drifting into the realm of peoples rights to their own opinions! And right to speak their opinions openly. Their right to raise their own children according to their own beliefs and values. Their rights to not have the state decide what opinions their children are allowed to have. That situation is too "1984", but we are hearing it so much we forget it is manipulation on a mass scale. Put "heather has two mommies" in the book store and IF I want to buy it for my child it is there. Everyone's freedom is protected. But pass it out in class and force my child to read it is too "1984". It's not basic education, it's trying to reform society from the ground up, bringing up a new generation indoctrinated into PC Correctness! That's not freedom, that is indoctrination by the state!!
