Paul, $1500 for a TV is expensive compared to $700 for a laptop + $50 for broadband access (my predictions for 2/3 years). However, as for the family aspect of TV viewing, you are most probably right. I watch TVs only very infrequently and was bringing my experience of reading books (a personal exercise) into TV viewing. But on the flip side, would you buy a $1500 digital TV to surf the web and post in the SI? -BGR.
