I/Net Opportunities follow-on...

Mason you wrote <<Sad to see INNI go backwards, but linux got the hype and popular support>>...

I hope my assessment of I/Nets current core products potential on the Linux operating system didn't lead you to the conclusion that I/Net is going backwards.

I view I/Net's foray into Netscape on AS/400, as a intermediate term exploitation of a very profitable niche opportunity which will feed the coffers while they continue to transform the business.

I/Net has other core competencies in imaging and voice recognition that create additional synergies with CGG. So there is a bigger developing picture, that I think would further be augmented by various internet related "business services" ventures.

What this issue does raise, is the need for the company to articulate a strategy to the investing public. One that outlines current product plans, expansion plans, and more on what CGG brings to the table.

This would go along ways towards their exit from BB status...jw
.p.s. my opportunities assessment is speculation based on observation.
.p.s.s. as I know the operatives do view this board, I consider "the request to communicate strategy" a formal recommendation to the company from a shareholder.
