Thank you for your comical response.

It's always worth a laugh when people act like they're the spokesperson on these threads. Surely you're joking.

Please reference Mr. Zarb's letter to securities firms earlier this month. It specifically calls for an end to the false advertising of "instantaneous fill confirmations". The Web Street ads promote 6-10 second notifications, but neglect to mention their notion of an "acceptable industry standard" of "up to 48 hours". That's not the industry standard, of course, but the fact is I have that preposterous statement in writing from Web Street. It's clear that the executive who sent me that hogwash wasn't counting on all this.

If you call Web Street, as many others have, they'll deny this policy. They just haven't figured out how to deal with it yet, but they are going to have to come up with some answers for certain individuals that are very unhappy with this consumer fraud.

This is the Web Street thread, Tech Master, and I will continue to discuss misrepresentations I am aware of that should discourage anyone from considering this brokerage. One doesn't just fire off a quick post like you did and say "yeah, we got it, let's move on". No, this is a major deal; one that is being examined on several higher levels, strongly contested legally, and one that has potential for very serious repercussions.

I'll be sure to keep you posted.
