Greetings Alan, << we need to see them as God sees them, Israel is to be the focal point>> WRONG, The focal point of Gods plan for mankind is the Lord Jesus Christ. God made this promise to Abraham in Gen.12:3, and it was was realised by Israel bringing forth the promised Messiah, the Lord Jesus Christ. He has perfectly fullfilled all prophecies by His death , resurrection and ascension nearly 2000 years ago. Gods focal point is His Son , Jesus the Christ not one particular race of people. Take your eyes and heart away from the " flesh" and man and look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. The Apostle Peter, acknowleged that he himself was living in the last days according to Acts 2:14-21. The people of God ( Israel ) are only those who are in Covenant with Him. In the Old Tesatament it was the Nation of Israel along with others who would join themselves to this people of God. From Calvary, it is ALL NATIONS and peoples, as many as will believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the Now reigning King of Israel. Have you stopped long enough to consider what God has done for all of mankind in the person of His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ ?. Robert |
