Just like England, they get some guy to say ridiculous things to scare people, and he tells them to contact the health minister. Do I start to look like a cow if I eat beef?

Mr Phelps said the danger lay in the DNA of modified food being transferred to humans.

"People should talk to their health ministers and tell them we don't want it," Mr Phelps said.

Now, here's what Phelps is REALLY concerned about:

"...said that if applications by industrial giant Monsanto were
approved for genetically modified corn, canola, cottonseed and soy, up to 90 percent of supermarket food could be affected."

The means increased market competition for Mr Phelps interests, who aren't involved in the Monsanto food cluster.
