Hi Robert. I took the sell initiative through the first wk. of Feb. after Barrick's results were released. I'm somewhat surprised at the present support shown for QTR at this stage and price level. Since selling out I've been accumulating AMC, Abacus Minerals. You might consider the same if you don't own any. IMHO its an excellent trade off at this point. It also has a number of supporters from OTR's thread.

Here are some of their key projects and highlights:

Patagonia Properties, Argentina.

Highlights from last year drill program include the following:
- hole LM98-2 intersected 58 meters of 6.5 g/t gold & 22 g/t silver.
- hole LM98-9 intersected 54 meters of 4.5 g/t gold & 12 g/t silver.

With the company's phase 3 drill program about to begin within days I feel the stock is amazingly cheap at .21 . The company presently seems
to be overlooked with only a small following at this point. What do you think would have happened to QTR's price had the above numbers been produced by Barrick? (just a thought). With AMC having already hit and drilling about to start,I think the stock will gain a following and develop upward momentum any time now. I think the tradeoff from QTR to AMC has merit.

Ferragudo, Portugal:
The 7 million US expenditure commitment from Phelps Dodge on AMC's property in Portugal should generate interest when drilling begins in May. This property is next to the Neves Corvo Mine, one of the richest mines in the world, where two ore bodies have the following reserves;
-38 million tons grading 7.5% Cu & 4 million tons grading 6% Zinc.
-Lonabador, has reserves of 47 million tons grading 6.2% Zinc.
If Phelps Dodge hits any grades like these you know what is going to happen to AMC's stock price.

Later this year the Niblack property in Alaska could fuel the fire because of the area plays that will again start after spring breakup.

Back to Argentina, Do you recall when very few were interested in ARP's discovery hole of 97? The stock was trading at .50 in Oct.98 prior to this season's drill program. We know what has happened there.

I believe AMC has the potential to be a great market success story this year also.
