gregor:

This whole OPEC thing is becoming crystal clear. Saudis and their friends are willing to cut if others cut also. They will not cut if other OPEC members and non-OPEC producers move to take up the slack.

Predictions of $6 oil and the current regime of $11 oil are the sticks. The carrot is $15 oil if eveyone holds the line. And $20 oil when demand improves.

This truly looks like an offer no rational oil producer can refuse. This recent bout of serious pain will bring relegion to both OPEC cheaters and non-OPEC producers.
