i think the same argument you use is applicable here. over the long haul, you know what high and low valuations are, so focus on the long term and you win - a high % of the time. of course, you don't get it all. but, hopefully, there is no need to get it all. that is greed. that will all but guarantee failure, no matter what system you use.
