Jeffrey, look at the amount of money spent on TV advertising: techstocks.com
It would seem to me that the TV networks must be feeling a little apprehensive of the power of the internet. Barry Diller's USA Network acquired LCOS and lately Paul Allen and Bill Gates have shown a big interest in the cable industry, acquiring major stakes in several companies. Meanwhile, AT&T has merged with TCI and left John Malone with 5 billion in cash to invest in his own company's future (he still is left to control Liberty Media). Malone has stated his vision of the future and it includes merging TV and the internet and interactive television.
Maybe it won't be one particular event that moves IATV into the big time, but this is a company that will be a player in what promises to be a huge technological shift. Some people are convinced that the patents IATV hold are worth billions. I guess that remains to be seen but I like their prospects and I'm willing to hold onto the stock and see if they execute their plan.
Some big fat advertising contracts would be nice though.
