As I have told some others in the past this one has the possibility of some short term trading opportunities. The risk here though maybe substantial since the company still must come through the restructuring and out from bankruptcy protection. With the recent news of the firings of some directors and the hiring of some new blood into the company the prospects look good. It is hard to believe that people with the buisness history that they have behind them would bother taking on with this company if the probability of a favorable outcome were not high.
Short term trading entails a small investment ( a few thousand $ ) and quick flips ( for profits of around 20% or so ). One should only risk with this strategy what they can afford to lose as with this situation anything can happen and when and if it does turn negative the time to get out will be very short.
As to the bottom, barring any surprises the recent low of $0.17 should have been it.
For long term investors with the stomach for the wild ride and the possibility of more of the same to come and those able to accept the risks, the stock should move nicely higher. A look at the long term chart for the stock shows some nice upside moves from historical bottoms. If the company can make it through this, this could be another bottom with some nice gains.
