I appreciate his efforts a great deal. I'm glad that 3Dfx is showing that they want to market themselves better.

Now, there are tons of rumours and speculation posted here (and at the Fool site where I've also seen Jason post). He hasn't answered any of the wilder ones and is careful to say "no comment" when he refers to unannounced product. However, I think that his very presence here in an investment forum adds credibility to all the statements made here. As someone who is professionally sensitive to disclosure and SEC reporting and such, it just makes me feel a little weird.

That's just my feelings and opinion. Heck, I like knowing that someone from 3Dfx is available to jump in here and give the official story. Of course, if they were more accessable via their website and we could just fire off an e-mail and expect a reasonably prompt reply, then there would be no need to post on open chat boards.

Out of curiousity, do other companies post often on the boards here?
