Glenn-- Gold is the most hated and abused investment on the planet-- you did right. I have been posting on one of the gold threads so I will not repeat here -- except to say that the scale on which international gold markets operate is not fully appreciated by most of us -- these are deep and liquid markets that have played a strange role in the larger scheme of things -- watching things reverse will be rewarding if you have a stock like NEM. The best news is that William hates it. <G>

& Your reply:

GST,

There are a variety of factors that should cause an increase in the price of gold. NEM will leverage the change several times due to 278/oz being about breakeven for mining with their reserves. Demand is at an all time high and there are a lot of short hedges.

Which thread is most active on this subject?

Mr. Randolph,

BTW, I think Richard has a "tonnes" question for you (grin) You handled that 25# of 10 karat gold wire question with aplomb! How did you arrive at that $44,500 when you didn't inquire as to diameter? And was that wholesale buy back value to you or retail plus fabrication $44,500?

May I introduce you! "Richard, meet, Mr. Randolph. Mr. Randolph, Richard Harmon."

Oh, Glenn Randolph, what kind of car is that you proudly picture on your SI profile? I'm just a dumb ole prospector and don't recognize anything newer (or faster) than a '37 ººº Ginny.

"Oh, and Glenn (Randolph), meet our other "Glen" (one 'n') the perpetual Hawaiin college student. Oh, I'm sorry, you've already met! I'm sure grateful one of you uses your first name when you write...or else we might get confused."

O/49r

CODICILE: What's a nice lawyer like you doing in the jewelry business?
Why don't you have a webpage on toolcity? The Randolph on that page just doesn't sound like the "you" on AMZN or on GPM threads. Just curious...

ººº that's 1837 Ginny, sorry.
