D E Shaws sells their internet trading unit to Merrill Lynch for I believe $25 million. Now if I am not incorrect, these stocks have multi billion dollar market caps. The valuation disparity is gaping IMHO.
I think they go lower. They will probably drop when these neotechnologically empowered rookie investors can finally get their trades executed. Face it, who bought and who owns these stock anyway?
I bet the average guy who owns AMTD or EGRP also owns AMZN, Yahoo, DELL, MSFT... Ouch!
I suspect account openings and activity will slow as this internet bubble continues fizzle.
You bet I own puts!!
