Phil: Your assumption of free market is misguided. Local phone companies will kill to stay as monopolies, and that is exactly what they are doing now. Let them open up the local markets. Give me a choice of 4-5 companies to choose from, and then I will talk about "free markets". Are you not sick of paying up $40 or more just for someone to set up your account as a new customer at a phone company? Some free market... Rajesh Agarwal
