I have a question- How do I, outside of using a powerful electo magnet, zap the entire contents of a hard drive and MBR?

Partition Magic works great for me for partitioning. Latest version handles Linux ext2 partitions. As far as the Master Boot Record, I know that fdisk has an undocumented /m or /mbr option, but I'd say MSDOS fdisk is a last resort unless you really intend to clear the whole drive.
