El - On the AOL post about CPQ earnings... I hope someone has pointed out that the yokel who did this analysis failed to take into account the fact that DEC financials were included in the 4Q98 numbers and of course not in the 4Q97 numbers. Virtually all of his reported 'wierd effects' are a result of his failure to understand the impact of adding a $12B enterprise business into a $25B volume PC business. Clearly this gentleman is among the uninformed, not to mention a little short on common sense. Is this guy Jim Kelley in drag? No, even Kelley knows better than this.
