Enjoy your many insightful posts!! There is a perception that is weighing on the minds of many investors. Eventually it is believed that in rows will be made to diminish Dell's market share and other direct sellers which are now emulating Dell's direct model will be more prosperous in the future. Last year when Dell beats expectations by a penny the stock was stuck in the mud with much volatility. This recent quarter Dell met analyst figures but saw revenues decline. The high blow out reporting that the street was used to did not happen. Now Gateway and Compaq are likely to benefit from this while Dell remains under pressure. This morning Dell shares are trading down in Europe and Compaq is up. It seems that for some time we finish our trading session copying what happened in Europe.
