Public strangers flock to my marketing classes, .....My technical analysis sessions through my commodity broker are packed to the walls when her office's clients learn I'm going to speak..
Do they pay you in gold, for these sessions as well?? Or worthless Fiat?
BTW, are you registered with the CFTC?
I welcome free interchange of ideas as long as agendae is as transparent as the "sincerity of the questions"
Opinions/tenets/belief systems/religions/skin color are ALL different than my own...that's what makes living interesting and SI a "fun place."
That has not been my experience here. I came onto this thread with limited understanding of how gold interacted with the dollar and Federal Reserve system. Sure I had some fundamental analytical tools to help me figure it out, but I frankly had not spent much time assessing the value of gold.
And the way that I prefer finding the truth about a subject is to tear it apart, and the arguments supporting it, until I find the foundation of that truth.
Before I came here, I didn't know the Fed had 14 years worth of gold production locked up essentially as a means to control the gold market.
Before I came here, I didn't really understand the real desire and need for the Fed and CBs to demonetize gold versus the major currencies.
Ole 49r, my experience with you is that you are someone who states a philosophy about gold without fully realizing the roots of that philosophy and how it can be altered in the minds of humanities.
People will never go back to an economy where they pay for things in gold, no matter how much you would like that. It's wonderful that you manage to do so, but certainly not something the majority of mankind will return to except in the most drastic economic disaster imaginable.
Regards,
Ron
