Many of the old standard companies on the stock market have very little growth potential to look forward to, i.e. bricks and mortar types etc.. But many of those Internet stocks have growth potential which appears to be unlimited. We are into an Internet Revolution. What's important with some of these small Canadian Internet stocks is that they have a good management plan. I was reading recently that in the United States auctions, classified ads, garage sales, etc. were valued at US$100 billion. So the big Internet player in this game is EBAY, US$18.00/sh. 5 months ago today US$240.00/sh. (Cdn$360,000 to buy 1,000 EBAY shares.!!!!. They're not even scratching the surface of this type of business yet, I would say, less than 1/4 of 1%. That's just one example of the growth potential in the Internet. Some of these small Canadian Internet companies have an added boost because many do business in the United States and attract that big powerful US dollar, and their shares sell in cheap Canadian dollars. So with a good management plan, what more could you ask for becoming involved in this new Internet Revolution.
