Alydaar Software Changes Name to Information Architects
Information Architects Announces New Strategic Direction Beyond Year 2000

Alydaar Software Corporation today announced it is changing its name to
Information Architects Corporation. The Company believes the name change
better defines the general business of the Company. Information Architects
(IA) will maintain the Alydaar brand for its Year 2000 services due to its
strong position in the Year 2000 marketplace. The Company will continue to
trade under the ALYD ticker symbol until the annual shareholder meeting in
May when the shareholders will be asked to approve a resolution to change
the ticker symbol to IARC.
Information Architects' recent acquisitions provide the Company with a
strong position in the rapidly developing Enterprise Information Portal
(EIP) marketplace and represents an extension of the Company's core
competency in both mainframe and client/server environments. By combining
the specialties of each individual company, from document imaging,
networking, hosting, legacy data acquisition, content dissemination and
presentation, IA will be able to offer the most complete end-to-end
solution in the EIP marketplace. Current market competitors include Viant,
iXL, USWeb/CKS and Cambridge Technology Partners.
The Company's acquisition history:
- In October 1998, Information Architects acquired GroupWare technologies
from Sensenet, Inc., including email, calendering, chat, and workflow
applications.
- On February 1st, the Company announced a definitive agreement to acquire
Data Systems Network Corporation, Inc. of Farmington Hills MI.
- On February 17th, Information Architects acquired Virtual Web Server
technology from Pencom Systems, Inc., of New York, NY.
- On February 18th, the Company announced an agreement to acquire Tumble
Interactive; a New York based new media firm.
- On February 19th, the Company announced an agreement to acquire Way
Communications; a New York based web-hosting firm.
