Steve: I don't know if you are interested in helpful advice from me, but I'd like to make some suggestions for improving your piece on DCHT.
While the background material on the hydrogen economy and fuel cells is fine, I think the report needs more DCHT specific information to show why you believe the company has the technology and business capability to thrive in that favorable environment.
Putting on my investor hat, things not in the report that I would want to know include:
Who are the competitors in the hydrogen sensor market? How big is the total market currently? Where does DCHT fit in terms of the pricing of its product compared to competitors? What does it have that is proprietary? Under what circumstances would a potential customer prefer a DCHT sensor, and when a competitor's?
Same thing with fuel cells - as you pointed out in one of your other posts, even school kids can build a PEM fuel cell, so what does DCHT have that is proprietary, how does it stand versus competitors, etc? Also, since all fuel cells are currently way too expensive versus more conventional sources of energy, how does DCHT plan to achieve mass production to lower unit costs?
Also, while you don't like to talk about this, I would like to see something about why you think the company can finance its growth internally, without massive dilution. Finally, when referring to other fuel cell companies that have a higher market cap, you should explain why, in your opinion, those caps are out of line relative to DCHT (i.e., that they are higher than DCHT's, no one can deny, but maybe they should be higher - please explain why not.)
With your new, enhanced disclaimer, you no longer give me any reason to complain about your previous practice of pretending to be a doctor who just happened to find these nifty "research reports" on the web. If you would now try to include in your write ups the kind of material, including real (not just boilerplate) risks, that a real research report would include, then that will take away my (or anyone's) criticism about the content of your work.
I hope you find these comments constructive. |
