This was an ultraimportant read in my unhumble this opinion..I looked at the whole article..
I have a feeling that after the merger mania is over, maybe the game will change.
I am not worried about year2000..with all the mergers by huge corporations, who already have fixed their problems,I wonder how many
smaller companies that are taken over won't have to worry about their lack of remediation..
I don't see anything on horizon..that can change this trend, until the
"big guys" decide to pull the plug..(if there are some cartels who have the power of the market)and if there are big guys why should they pull the plug while they can still get more individual investors pouring money into the market..also the internet is fueling more businesses..and the labor market with all the mergers and layoffs shouldn't be as tight as people say with all the people getting laid off..the internet companies just don't need the same staff as nonvirtual companies need..(curious if the internet could have a negative effect on business real estate since they don't need storefronts..just warehouses if that
