Poor compared to Windows NT and the plug and play features of Windows 2000. Considering MSFT has been working for years to support virtually every type of hardware on the planet, I do not see Linux reaching that level for some time.

Or will Linux support all the latest and greatest hardware? Take my machine for instance: I have a 3DFX Voodoo 2 card with 12 megs, an 8.2 gig IDE drive, two SCSI hard drives, a ZIP drive, a DVD drive, 96 megs of ram, and an LCD monitor, plus and older laser jet printer and a new 56K modem. Windows 98 detected all of this on its own, no effort on my part. Are you saying Linux will do this?
