WARMINSTER, Pa. (Dow Jones)--Auction Television Network (ATVW) retired about
627,000, or more than 5%, of its outstanding shares.
In a press release Wednesday, Auction said the termination of the planned
acquisition of Docks International resulted in the return of the bulk of the
retired shares to the company.
According to a company representative, the retirement of the shares brings
Auction's outstanding shares to slightly more than 11.2 million.
The company's software development team also said a beta version of its
real-time auction system is expected within 45-60 days.
Auction Television has an Internet site and is planning a national cable
television launch in 1999.
