Surelock,
This has not been covered. Your browser (Netscape or IE) only knows about messages because of the URL entered in the address field of the browser window. When you use the download feature, the format of the URL is different from loading a single SI message, so your browser has no way to know which individual messages have been loaded. If you want to keep track of unread messages on a thread, I've found that SI's message manager works well.
