<<<Of course, trying to figure out what the revenue is must be difficult in this industry since the retailers supposedly can return unsold games for 100% credit.>>>

This is true but as I said the real trick is to figure out the royalty arrangements with a distributor that is under contract with an outside development house.

<<<What is the ex CEO Chaimodiwitz's role with that other division (I forgot the name -- something to do with Oz?) that is trying to leverage Internet as a business model to promote GTIS? Is there some firm vision/strategy that they are working towards -- or is it all hush, hush secret?>>>

I don't have an answer but most shareholders don't care. They are just glad he is gone.

<<<It seems to me that in this business, Distribution & Creative control/ownership is everything.>>>

It isn't everything. If you are in charge of both and the development team screws up you are left holding the bag.

<<<Of course, there is always the formidable Microsoft which appears to be making overtures to get into software games development business so if that happens in a big way, then the little guys like GTIS may end up being muscled out by the Goliath's marketing/distribution muscle.>>>

Microsoft has proven they can compete but thus far they can't even come close to matching the innovation that dedicated developers have shown over the last few years.

<<<One last question --- is the Games market affected by recession or the overall economy?>>>

This is a difficult question to answer. The game market from 1981-1995 was no where near as volatile as it is today. It also was a niche market because not that many households had PC's. Now with sub-$1000 PCs and the internet, the market is growing rapidly. As for affects of the overall economy I couldn't tell you but common sense dictates the game market can be closely tied to effects in the overall entertainment market.
