DOJ doesn't apply remedies they ask for them and the court decides. All this discussion is just like a bunch of talking heads on TV discussing the outcome of a case that isn't anything but a thinly veiled attempt by MSFT's competitors to rein MSFT in. Where is the harm to the consumer?

If MSFT must make their code public will all the rest of the world's OS purveyors reveal their source codes. We are talking about intellectual property rights here.
