e-mail: CMCSK +15 (energizer bunny), ADLAC + 8 3/4, I'm taking profits I had enough but I'm waiting for the last possible moment, ANF + 10 after losing about 3..also probably taking profits as well as some longer term holdings like MENT, TMX, also taking profits in stock #2 and maybe MIR since it actually did not beat the street but was up anyhow. I did 'smell' an upgrade but I'm not so sure now.
All of these were swing trades, called, and posted and that doesn't include KSWS,AVID,SONE,CMD,KING, SDLI,MCSC,MYSW,MMCN,MFNX,ADRX, ALSI which were all'called' and were up 12-20% during the 'tech correction'. Even 'reverse' earnings plays like TRVL, GVA were ultimately good trades. I did mention that I thought technology would be coming back soon and meanwhile had invested in just earnings plays to bridge the gap while we 'waited'.. at no time did I sell anything at a panic but rather the reverse.
marketgems.com techstocks.com in timely fashion. TMX,MENT were position trades.. The only stock I will daytrade today will be #2.. Even the YHOO and AMZN calls were bought last week as well as LOW and the HD calls, and I'm probably selling LOW as well. Earnings plays positions that I went long in today I am holding. |
