selling dell march 85 @ 2.875.... maybe not the best time...the past two weeks have been the buying opportunity for large cap techs...all the money has gone out, beginning to return...should write covered calls at overbought, oversold as now is time to sell puts...if you are intent on selling as you are concerned, consider buying back mar 85, and selling jan 140 (ldeah) with a 6.375 premium, and 55+ points to run on the upside, far out option premiums are a good leading indicator of where the money is heading...me thinks the premium for an 85 in march will have the stock called away...consider the mar 5 split, your 85 is now 2 x 42.5...the jan 140 would be a 70...just a thought, good luck! ed a.
