FWIW re: Dell options

If anyone cares, it's probably not a good time to sell Dell options because near-term volatility has just about collapsed:

March 85's: 54 volatility
March 90's: 52 volatility
March 95's: 51 volatility

The volatility for the last 20 days was 75.9
The volatility for the last 6 months was 67.6

For those that don't know, all other things being equal, you generally want to sell options when volatility is high and buy them when the volatility is low. IMHO, I absolutely wouldn't be a seller of the March 85's, 90's, or 95's with the options volatilities this low.

Better to buy the options at this price. Great time to put on options spreads.

Best regards,
