I think that the RBOCs are getting ready to go gung ho with ISDN and
BellSouth is planning to offer internet access June 1 (although I am having a hard time getting info on pricing). It makes sense that BellSouth would be ironing out the ISP part of the puzzle with ISDN in
preparation for the "premium" ADSL service 3 to 4 quarters out. ISDN is the obvious rampup to ASDL and as someone pointed out recently, how many times have you had to call your cable company for service vs. the phone company. If it were possible to come out with an ISDN "modem" sold as upgradable to ASDL I believe it would be a very hot product for telco, business, and individual sales.
