Paul, My experience with this company continues to bear out. They just won't come out and say anything specific, isn't it annoying? Yes, I would certainly get that impression, but because of the way they dance you have to make and educated guess. All I know is they have been very solid and I've never heard a negative (except their investor relations, sucks)concerning their products, or their organization. They seem to hit things on target and are on the cutting edge in their field.
One thing I have noticed is their predictions always seem very conservative, but there again I don't recall them using any 'safe harbor' declarations in their releases. Maybe I just missed them. If they don't however, that is really cool, what I mean is they must have a ton of confidence in what they say (maybe that is why they are so tight lipped?). I think they are basically saying, hey the name may be TI but the guts are SSPIF. They need to promote like Intel. Think about it, how many end products does Intel produce? If it wasn't for their logo, jingle, and advertisement, Intel wouldn't be such a household name or popular, right? Well, IMHO SSPIF will definitly profit finacially from this, but they should press TI to name them, do some conference calls with brokers, take some advertising tips from Intel and put them into effect. If they did those things this stock would be gone, as it is now it takes someone to research everthing, get lucky and most, (especially large) investors would not have posted the TI article, until they either sold the information, bought up as many cheap shares they could, turned buddys onto it, etc. Hey I found that article by luck, just searching through the San Jose paper for nothing in particular. I posted it immediately, so it should give everyone an even chance(which is almost unheard of). Good Luck, I think your(I'm assuming you own) and my investment in SSPIF is worth probably 30 a share. When will we see that, who knows. I thought after dorfman touted it on CNBC it would have surpassed that mark then. It wouldn't suprise me to see it past 50/ split and hit it again. It also wouldn't suprise me if it happened this year. There again it might take 4-5 years. Good luck, in a way we owe them a our gratitude, after all where else can you find this kind of bargin, these days? |
