Meant to add this tidbit in my last note. The exact "scoop" on Perio is as follows...

Your friend was partially right. Israel Chemicals did make the decision to postpone the IPO for now, but it had nothing to do with FDA approval. Perio only filed for approval in the U.K. -- which they've received -- and never planned to go through the FDA.

For the coming year, it looks like they'll focus primarily -- if not exclusively -- on the European market, and gradually work their way into the U.S.

I expect to meet with the CEO within the next month or two, so I'll keep you advised of anything that might prove newsworthy.
