I tried carrying on a conversation on the Amazon thread. It's of no use. They seem to think that valuations don't matter. In fact one even went to the extent that value investing might have worked in the past but they don't work now! So, there go the valuations out of the window! Sensible readers might want to mull these words of Buffett and repeat the words to themselves a few dozen times : "Price is what you pay. Value is what you get". I am pretty certain that Brinker's words of caution with regard to valuations are, for the most part, falling on deaf ears.
