<<They could have squashed all this competetion in 1996.>> Neal, they did try to frighten, intimidate, and overhype the competition. But, the competition didn't go away. Now they must produce product. Both cable and wireless products continue to refine. Now, we're in a horse race. The consumer should win--as designed. But, which technology wins? DSL still has the opportunity to grab a piece of the pie. But, probably only the big networkers (CSCO,LU,ALA,COMS, etc,) will have the variety of solutions and percentage of market share necessary to survive. The little fellers like WSTL have a tough row to hoe. By the way Neal, your spelling ain't too bad except for "studitiest". I couldn't figure that one out. :-) sg |
