Michael, you make some valid points with regards to reading the current numbers. Let me ask you a question. Do you care at all that Dell maintains one of the top 10 e-commerce websites along with Amazon and yahoo, etc. and that none of Dell's traditional competition have that presence? (Compaq, HP, etc) In addition Dell has successfully built out the logistics infrastructure to compete in e-commerce on any number of fronts - whereas Amazon has to build all this from the ground up? Would an announcement from Dell on expanding their web presence change your opinion of Dell as an investment? I think you are comparing Dell along traditional lines with traditional manufacturers, which is fair enough but I for one am more interested in seeing Dell utilize their infrastructure across the web (and I believe they are doing that - announcements to come). Of course some people just don't like net stocks, don't like the multiples in that space etc. Michelle
