Don't think so Red. My understanding was that some blasting might be needed but basically the Bulks would be taken out with excavators, loaders or backhoes or whatever.
The drilling going on on the N Shore is simply to confirm the depth and cover over the dyke so as to minimize the amount of overburden needing to be shifted.
