James, I agree with your assessment of the partnership announcements, but time is ticking... With no revenue or further details regarding these partnership agreements, Magic is like a big boat (large float) with not so small a leak (cash burn rate). Another way to look at partnerships is: Hey, these guys have a cool technology that we can maybe use in the future with our product. We might not implement it, (ie things happen), but at least our competition won't be able to partner up with Magic either. Meanwhile the clock ticks, and other companies come up with their own voice activated assistant technology. They partner up with some company that does use the technology and Magic is nothing but a memory. Case in point, VPTI developed a (now rudimentary) voice powered device for recording thoughts or memos, you have seen them I am sure), but many other companies developed the same technology and got their products out to market sooner. VPTI is trading at .03 cents. I am not trying to be an alarmist, but a realist. By the way, I have far less technological savvy then many of the participants on this thread. I'm basing my comments on my investing experience, that's all. I would love to see Magic work out, believe me. |
