and Internet technology, providing a strategic healthcare

L&H Wav Transcriber service, a telephony and mobile
dictation solution that utilizes advanced speech
recognition technology to reduce transcription costs and
decrease report turnaround time. Users can access the
L&H Wav Transcriber service by simply dictating into a
standard telephone, mobile handheld recording device, or
PC-based Wav-file recording microphone. Dictation
received over the telephone or Internet via an uploaded
Wav-file is captured and processed at a call center by
advanced speech recognition software tailored to various
medical specialties. A sophisticated workflow system
assigns the resulting text to a human transcriptionists for
editing based upon the specialty, work load and priority of
each project. Applying speech recognition technology to
medical transcription substantially increases document
throughput, service availability and savings. Because it is
a transparent solution, the L&H Wav Transcriber
seamlessly integrates into a physician's current workflow
and offers a low risk service-based solution for improving
