The product combines advanced speech and Internet technology, providing a strategic healthcare information solution that is scalable from the point of care for the physician to the communication requirements of a healthcare enterprise. L&H Wav Transcriber service, a telephony and mobile dictation solution that utilizes advanced speech recognition technology to reduce transcription costs and decrease report turnaround time. Users can access the L&H Wav Transcriber service by simply dictating into a standard telephone, mobile handheld recording device, or PC-based Wav-file recording microphone. Dictation received over the telephone or Internet via an uploaded Wav-file is captured and processed at a call center by advanced speech recognition software tailored to various medical specialties. A sophisticated workflow system assigns the resulting text to a human transcriptionists for editing based upon the specialty, work load and priority of each project.
