Sam, re forecasting: in the semiconductor equipment industry we have monthly reports on book-to-bill ratio, shipments and orders for the entire industry. [3-month averages]. I've plotted stock prices vs orders and see a rough correlation. Message 7929586 At least that gives me something to go by. In the DD industry there is no regular report, such as SEMI's. Or can anyone suggest a way to track orders? I feel like sailing without a compass, in the fog. Gottfried
